Carbon Neutral Fuels proud to announce collaboration with purpose-led non-profit foundation, Skyfinity

On 16th January 2024, non-profit foundation Skyfinity and Carbon Neutral Fuels (“CNF”) announced a landmark collaboration. The partnership represents a shared mission to decarbonise the aviation industry and accelerate the deployment of novel technologies seeking to solve the industries greatest challenges.

Skyfinity, a non-profit foundation dedicated to funding sustainable aviation start-ups, champions the “innovate-to-zero" principle. In line with the net zero by 2050 ambition, they work both with travellers and businesses to enable direct investment in sustainable aviation projects. This allows customers to counteract their emissions, and will hopefully fill the funding gap between ambition and development.

Maurice Boon, Skyfinity Chairman, stated that

‘CNF is pioneering the e-SAF market that is projected to grow tremendously over the coming years. They have a passionate team that is de-risking the technology and the business case for SAF. We look forward to our collaboration with CNF to support them in their mission, as we invite travellers to help decarbonise the fuel powering their flights.’

Based in the UK, CNF is developing technology to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) using recycled atmospheric carbon dioxide and clean hydrogen technologies.

'CNF is thrilled to be collaborating with a brilliant, purpose-led start-up like Skyfinity!' commented CNF Co-Founder, Alasdair Lumsden.

'Our mutual ambitions to decarbonise air travel and pioneer the path to sustainable flight is evident. This partnership is a brilliant opportunity to create a tangible impact for the sector.'

Together with CNF, Skyfinity represents an important new actor in the road to net zero and achieving our collective goal to decarbonise aviation! ✈️🌏
